In this book and author brief overview, let’s make a start by asking if you have ever wondered about life; why you are here, if you have been here before, and what will happen to you when you die? Have you ever wondered if there is a spiritual purpose to your life, or whether or not you have a soul? What about the ‘Other Side,’ have you thought what and where it might be, if it exists at all?
As human beings we have a wonderful opportunity to explore and find answers to these profound questions. This is about life and death, our life and death. There is no time like the present to take up this adventure and make sense of the journey we are on.
What this book offers
This book will propose answers to these questions, and more – from a less conventional spiritual perspective. It promises to provide information, hints and insight regarding our lives and our relationship with death. There are no frills, no waffle, just straightforward ideas, arguments, evidence and research, laid out in a friendly sometimes personal, sometimes humorous manner.
About the Author
From his early teens, Francis O’Neill began wrestling with his Christian upbringing. At one point he wanted to become a priest, but by his early twenties he had become an atheist and existentialist in his beliefs. Later, following a series of odd paranormal experiences, and reading a book by CG Jung, he began a lifelong quest to better understand life and death. And with it, to pin down a sound spiritual
argument for why we are here, and where we are heading; which he presents in this book.
He has a BA Hons (1st) in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology. He is also a practising and award winning astrologer, having studied with the Faculty of Astrological Studies and the Mayo School of Astrology in the UK. He has spent a good deal of his life as a field archaeologist, supervising rescue excavations on Roman and prehistoric sites, and also as a qualified lecturer in adult education. He lives in the Cotswolds with his partner, the composer and musician, Annie Locke.
