Consciousness and Dying – interview with Dr Peter Fenwick
Dr Peter Fenwick is a neuropsychiatrist and neurophysiologist who is known for his studies of epilepsy and end-of-life phenomena including near death experience (NDE). He is recognised as an authority on the relationship between the mind and the brain.
In context he is the president of the Horizon Research Foundation, an organisation that supports research into end-of-life experiences.
He is also the author of several books including ‘The Art of Dying‘, ‘The Truth in the Light‘ and ‘The Hidden Door: Understanding and Controlling Your Dreams‘ – which you can find out more about off the Amazon links here.
In this consciousness and dying video, Fenwick talks to Iain McNay (of Conscious Tv) about his research into End of Life Experiences and deathbed phenomena.
He discusses what these occurrences mean in the greater picture of who we really are. Dr Fenwick provides insight into what happens at death. This includes premonitions of one’s own death, visitations, electrical phenomena that can occur at the point of death, and fear of dying alone.
